Compeer for Adults

Compeer Niagara for Adults assists in building and maintaining good mental health through friendship, recreational, social and learning opportunities.

Compeer for Adults matches adult participants and volunteers who share similar interests. The pairs talk and spend quality time together throughout the month.

Compeer for Adults also offers monthly group activities, which allows participants to explore new interests throughout the county, as well as form friendships with other participants and volunteers within the Compeer Program.

Compeer also offers a monthly activity for all members, whether or not they have been matched.

To participate in the matching program or monthly activities, individuals must have a referral from their mental health provider.

Referral forms are available upon request from Compeer by phone, or can be downloaded here. These referral forms must be printed, filled out BY THE MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDER, and mailed to:
